Made of thick interlocking boards of Hard Maple wood, Gravity Bench plays off of enlarging traditional finger joinery to create the general mass of the bench. The bench is a unique yet simple flowing form that is constructed with the utmost craftsmanship. This piece is hand-carved from start to finish because of its construction. The bench combines traditional woodworking with a sculptural sensitivity.
