Large Stack Vessel is a stack sculpture in stoneware ceramics. Each of the 11 vessels in the pair is unique in form, and express harmonic ratio and ideal balance. This sculpture is a technological feat, as it is challenging to create round forms without a flat bottom in high-fired ceramics. All vessels are perfectly trimmed on the wheel to proportion, then stacked on a supporting skeleton, and hardwood base.
